14. Rosa's Trial

When you step inside the town inside the trial, a malevolent force presents itself. She takes advantage of Rosa’s caring nature by putting the townspeople in severe peril. Then she challenges Rosa to save the townsfolk. Only not all that appear in trouble are townspeople. Some are monsters posing just waiting to strike. You have a limited amount of time to save all the real townspeople. Be careful who’s real and who isn’t. Here’s the list of ailing people and monsters.

It’ll take a couple of tries to make sure you get all the humans. Hold down the B button to dash. This is really the only way you can get all of them. When time runs out, the malevolent source of this carnage will challenge you as Lunar Asura.

	Like her Earthen self, Lunar Asura has three faces, each one dictating an attack. She'll revolve her heads after she's been attacked physically. Her normal, pretty face strikes with a physical attack, or heal herself with Curaga or the far more potent Restore. The angry face blows one character away with a powerful third level elemental spell. The happy face will come with annoying status effecting spells, or occasionally smash a character with Globe 199, which is pretty much a one-hit kill. Asura has an obscene amount of HP which isn't helped by the fact that she can restore herself pretty heartily. You can use the same approach when you fought her last and cast Reflect on her to deflect her Curaga in you wish. But the reflection will not reflect her Restore, which does far more HP. Plus it completely takes away your black magic power. That said, Lunar Asura is not a very tough fight. The biggest challenge she'll present is blasting you with one of her three powerful spells, which usually only attacks one at a time. Just delve into her with your best stuff. Keep your members alive and healthy and Asura is toast.

If you managed to save all who needed it before time wound down, you will receive the which boosts Rosa’s magic immensely. Also, this item changes Pray into Miracle, which recovers more HP and sometimes casts . If you didn't save everyone, you will get either an or an , obviously getting the latter if you've done quite well.
