Job Analysis

The White Mage's forte lies in the healing arts, and her usefulness lies in her ability to support her comrades from the sidelines. Rather than hurting the enemy directly, the White Mage uses everything in her power to keep the other warriors healthy, using her restorative powers to cure wounds and even raise others who have fallen in combat. The White Mage also carries several useful support spells which can drastically reduce the damage that enemies do to the party. And though her skills are not typically geared towards offense, her ODia1 spells do incredible amounts of damage to the numerous undead enemies throughout the game. The White Mage's weaknesses lie in her substandard physical attributes; she isn't much of a Warrior, and her defense is fairly weak. Early on, her White Magic will be a fairly expensive commodity, as well. Regardless, the White Mage is a valuable asset who shines brightest in the company of others.
