Summon both Golem and Carbuncle for protection against physicals and magic. Use the latter also to reflect your own magic onto Exdeath. !Mix can go a long way for both offense and defense, and released Yellow Dragons can end the battle quickly.

Strategy

In this form, he has only a physical attack, and an attack that sets both Death and Petrify. Anything that protects against one protects against both, so it's very possible to have to deal only with the physical attacks. Holy-elemental attacks are best, but almost any attack works well against this form.

Strategy

Magissa uses primarily magic, with only a 33% chance of a physical attack every other turn. She will call Forza into the battle once she hits 300HP or less; Forza is a physical brawler. The former can be silenced, and the latter can be put to sleep. Using OProtect for front row characters is a good idea.

Strategy

Prepare to defend against mostly physical attacks, and remember that if you kill only one of them, the other will try to resurrect the first with its next turn. OBerserk can stop this resurrection from starting, and following it up with OFlash will help keep you from taking too great a pounding. There's only 10000 HP total to knock off, so this shouldn't be too difficult, even with three in the party.

This version casts a lot of blue and protective magic, so spamming with OMute helps. There are no real weaknesses to exploit, so a number of classes are equally useful. A Blue Mage with O1000 Needles is good because of the known quantity of damage you'll get each turn.

Pound on Gilgamesh until he gets below 6000 HP, and then he will bring Enkidu into the fight. Enkidu will immediately heal Gilgamesh. After that, use Golem to protect against physicals, and continue to beat on Gilgamesh (using OSlow if they're getting in too many attacks). It is optional to defeat Enkidu first.

You don't actually want to defeat this boss, merely the enemies attacking him. The best way to do that is multi-target attacks that won't damage Golem, and the best way to do that at this point is with Romeo's Ballad (for Stopping) and Requiem (for damage).

Getting Haste set up early is the only way to even keep up with this thing's speed, otherwise it will take two turns to your one. Slow Cannon can help as well, and you might want HelmetRibbons and AccessoryAngel Rings to protect against its nastier status attacks. OFlare and OHoly are the best spells to use as they can get around the Grand Aevis' formidable defenses.

Strategy

This four-part mech has tons of HP and a cannon that will kill every member of your party if it gets its attack off (defend against this by having someone Jumping!). The main target is invincible until the Launchers are dead, but you should wait to kill them until after the Wave Cannon, as it is the most dangerous part at first and is the only part that can't be resurrected. Once the Guardian is alone, you have only four rounds until the Launchers are returned, so hit as much as possible. All of the attacks that you would assume to be powerful are; consider equipping HelmetRibbons, ArmorBone Mail, and AccessoryAngel Rings to up your defenses.

Every offensive summon will result in a counter that will kill one of your party. The damage you will inflict is not worth this, so summon only Carbuncle. Watch out for ODispel, though, because every seventh turn results in a casting of OHoly, and this too will kill any un-reflected characters unless you are also Shelled and have insanely high HP.

It's far easier to defeat Shiva and her cronies once you have OFira. Without it, Blue magic is your best bet. Either way, consider using OFlash and OPond's Chorus first to disable the Ice Commanders. For more details on winning with or without OFira, see Walkthrough chapter 1.17.
