Never take the first turn, because you need to be able to heal if your HP is knocked down to one. Magic Barrier is very useful, as is Counter if you're a physical attacker. As long as you stay healed from the heaviest attacks, most job classes except Berserker can take this monster out.

Since you have only two party members, your options are more limited than usual. Try applying a lot of status ailments to the monster, especially OBersrk, as this will stop it from running away. Take advantage of the weakness to water; otherwise, there's not much need for detailed strategy.

Strategy
 
Hasted Berserkers with 2-Handed can physically pierce Archeoavis' strong defenses. Released monsters can also be potent, and magic can be effective as well if you keep track of Archeoavis' shifting elemental absorptions. Once you get to the final form, stop using magic.

Atomos will try to kill you with OComet and then try to remove the dead permanently from the battlefield. The best way to get around it is to stop it from getting that bad by using sleep-inducing attacks or simply by inflicting as much physical damage as possible right away.

This guy does nothing but cast blue magic, and he knows virtually all of it. There are a few spells you can teach him, though, and if you do, he will then use them back on you. This works the best with OL3 Flare assuming that you have a party who can not be hit by it. Use OGuardian, OHaste2, and OShell for defense.

Strategy
 
Necrophobe can't be hit until the Barriers are gone. The Barriers can be petrified or insta-killed, though you'll have to survive their reflected OFlare and OHoly spells first. Once they're gone, set up OProtes, OShell and Golem and pick away until Necrophobe is below 10000 HP - the rest might then be knocked off after your next attack by your buddy Gilgamesh.

The quickest way to win is to use ODoomClaw, which can short-circuit the plot sequence after the battle if it sets Paralyze. Without ODoomClaw, use fire-elemental attacks and watch out for the counterattacks that will begin to appear when he gets under 800HP.

Since you need to defeat all of the monsters in quick succession, or risk them resurrecting each other, either Silence as many as possible, or focus on dealing damage to all the targets at once. The latter works best, but be aware that Byurobolos will heal every time they are hit with a Summoned monster.

Carbuncle starts in a reflective state and bounces spells off of itself onto you. After three turns of this, it will switch to a healing phase; at this point its defenses go down, including reflect, and you can pound on it until it starts casting offensive spells again. The lower its HP gets, the more dangerous its offensive spells get.

Catastroph hates things that float and will try to pull them down to earth every turn so it can use an earth-based attack. Even having one floating party member will make him forget anything but pulling that member down, so if you cast OFloat before battle and then put on a AccessoryWall Ring you'll take absolutely no damage. Do this, as the Earthshaker attack is nasty and you don't want to see it, nor do you want to see its petrifying Evil Eye.

Pound on Gilgamesh until he gets below 6000 HP, and then he will bring Enkidoh into the fight. Enkidoh will immediately heal Gilgamesh. After that, use Golem to protect against physicals, and continue to beat on Gilgamesh (using OSlow if they're getting in too many attacks). It is optional to defeat Enkidoh first.

Magissa uses primarily magic, with only a 33% chance of a physical attack every other turn. She will call Faltzer into the battle once she hits 300HP or less; Faltzer is a physical brawler. The former can be silenced, and the latter can be put to sleep. Using OProtes for front row characters is a good idea.
