You'll be near the midpoint in the game before you have access to Lores in Final Fantasy VI. Because of that, and because Lores can be exceedingly useful, you will probably want to pick them up as soon as you can after that! Here's a quick table that links directly to the walkthrough chapter where you can first learn each one. You needn't necessarily do many of the chapters in order, so if you want to get your Lores early by skipping around, have a go!
