Final Fantasy Tactics Characters

For pure detail of characters both on the NPC and player-character sides, you can't go wrong with Final Fantasy Tactics. This game represents the best developed characters of any Final Fantasy game to date, and they have so much depth that it is almost impossible to not be confused your first time through the game. Of course, you could just blame that confusion on spotty translation like we do.

Biography

Ramza is the main character of Final Fantasy that decides to take the more difficult but honorable path to restore peace in Ivalice. Ramza disagrees with the concept that nobles have more rights or sophistication than the common people and never attempts acts conceited simply because he is a Beoulve. While Delita, one of his friends and nemeses, takes the path that brings him glory, Ramza takes the path that nobody recognizes. Nevertheless, it is this path that Ramza truly believes in, so he walks down it. Ramza sometimes feels out of place among his brothers because he is their half-brother, as he was born with a different mother. Ramza's Basic Skill command as a Squire is replaced by Guts, which includes many more skills that appear along the course of the game. Ramza can also learn Ultima as a Squire.
