Biography

Edge is the heir to the throne of Eblan and a skilled ninja. He is rash and hot-headed, and his desire for revenge leads him to join Cecil's cause.

Additional Information

When Baron's attack forces the people of Eblan to evacuate, Edge finds safety in the nearby caverns. Once the people are settled, Edge decides to fight his way into the Tower of Babel to avenge his parents.

Cecil's party encounters him just as he's suffering defeat at Rubicante's hands. Rubicante spares his life, telling him to try again when he's become a more worthy opponent, and departs. After hearing of Cecil's quest, Edge joins the party.

When Edge discovers that his parents have been turned into monsters and is forced to fight them, he channels all of his rage into fighting Rubicante. With friends at his back, he's able to avenge his parents' deaths.

Edge continues to travel with Cecil, partially due to an interest in Rydia, who scorns his flirtations. He is somewhat irreverent, but dedicated to safeguarding the world from Golbez.

Following the final battle, Edge returns to Eblan to rebuild his kingdom. He looks forward to seeing Rydia at Cecil and Rosa's wedding.
