Mid

Biography

Mid is an intelligent, bookish young academic prodigy and Cid's grandson. Mid idolizes his grandfather for the older man's genius and determination and Cid is extremely proud of his talented young grandson.

When Cid loses his drive following the destruction of the Fire Crystal, Bartz and the party find Mid at the Library of the Ancients and the young genius convinces his grandfather to sack up and help save the world. Mid and Cid support the party throughout the game, working together to make repairs and adjustments to the fire ship, the airship, and the submarine at different points in the story.
