Xezat

Biography

King Xezat is an old friend of Galuf, a skilled practitioner of both swordplay and magic who rules the kingdom of Surgate. Surgate's navy is the most powerful in the world, and Xezat brings the full force of it to battle Exdeath's army.

Continuing the broken record found in other spoiler sections, Xezat is one of the four original Warriors of Dawn, along with Galuf, Dorgann, and Kelger. Xezat collaborates with Bartz et al. to use Surgate's armada of ships as a diversion so Bartz's team can sneak into and destroy one of Exdeath's castle's barrier towers. The operation is successful, but Xezat dies holding off Exdeath's troops so Galuf, Bartz, Lenna, and Faris can escape. Galuf is devastated by the loss of his friend.
