When you get back to the End of Time, talk to the Old Man. He'll talk about many different instances that your party has influence on and that can influence your party. At this point, the choices are up to you. If you want, you can move onto the final battle with Lavos, or you can do all the sidequests which will help you get great equipment and develop the characters - for example, what happened with Marle and her father? For those of you that want to move on, move to "The Final Battle."
