2. Purge the Forest!

Enemies:	Ogan Youth, Ogan Chieftain, Slate Imp, Pink Imp
Treasures:	Hi-Potion, Hi-Ether, Athenian Water, Dragon’s Tear , Golden Hammer

The first room you'll see once you arrive, aside from the entrance, is completely empty. Pretty boring, huh? You can't enter any of the alleged "rooms," and the south exit leads to a monster-infested area. Looks like you're gonna have to get rid of some of them. Follow the path round to the north-east, and you'll come out into a forest (It's the only exit you can take without being returned back to the main room) Follow the path around, taking out enemies as they come. A chest at the top of the screen contains a Hi-Potion, followed by a few battles. A gap in the trees (it's easier to see on the mini-map) leads to a chest with 20,000G, and a similar gap on the right (again, mini-map — thanks, Nintendo DS!) gives you a Hi-Ether. Head up, and there is yet another gap in the trees! Get the Athenian Water contained therein, and then scout out the forest, making sure that there are no more enemies left. When you finish the last ones, your party will decide to return to the main room, so do so; if you haven't gotten this message yet, then you have more enemies to beat first.

After a brief conversation with some extremely grateful reptites, you'll receive a Dragon's Tear for your efforts. In addition, you will agree (it's a choice, but there's no point to the dungeon if you're just going to say no) to perform various tasks for the reptites. You've been hired, and they want you to start right away! The reptite closest to the save point north of the table will sell you some items and equipment. The items can be useful, but the equipment will likely be pre-outdated for your characters, so there's not much point there. So, to begin your errands for the reptites, speak to the one in the south-western-most corner. He will ask your help in searching for a Golden Hammer.
