4. Crono and the Amazing Technicolor Stone

Enemies: Slate Imp, Exile, Hercules Beetle, Pink Imp, Ogan Chieftain, Jackpot
Treasures: 10,000G, Prismastone, Shelter, Elixir, HelmetAeonian Helm, Hi-Potion, Saintstone, ArmDragon Arm

Your next quest begins with the reptite in the top left corner, by the Sanctum entrance. His daughter is gravely ill, and needs the restorative power of the Prismastone to save her. He informs you that it is at the top of Mount Emerald, a name which you soon will come to despise. But for now, easy goings and new sights to see. To get to Mount Emerald, take the south exit from the village, and then the south-east exit from the next area. Prepare for a boss battle in the form of...

Strategy
Another boss, annoyingly resistant to physical attacks, falls prey to more dual and triple techs. Be careful, though, as he counters your elemental attacks with his own of the same element. Take advantage of this by equipping element-absorbing armor on your party and attacking with that element, healing your party each time. If you don't use this tactic, however, watch out for his attack that reduces your HP to one, as the next counter will kill that character if not protected. If you keep on attacking him physically, it'll take longer to kill him, but he can't outright kill you (just give you some irritating status anomalies).

With victory, the Nu Guardian leaves, saying that he will become stronger and look to meet you again in the future. Make sure you heal any characters with 1 HP, and head on up the mountain. The path is fairly linear, but check the chests for 10000G, a Shelter, and an Elixir. There's a save point at the top of this area, so save and continue to the next area. Again, a linear path before you, picking up an HelmetAeonian Helm, Hi-Potion and ArmorAeonian Suit as you go. There's another save point at the start of the next area, but it's not really necessary. Keep going, and you'll see the Prismastone at the peak of the mountain. Go all the way back to the village, and give it to the reptite, and he will give you a Capsule Set! A collection of 2 of each Capsule for a very simple quest.

Next up in your Prismastone questings is the reptite farthest to the right, right next to a ladder. He will notice that you have the Prismastone , then give you a quest to use it to create an even cooler stone! Head up the ladders to his left, and place the Prismastone on one of the two platforms. And now, to the future, away! In the Middle Ages, go up to the exact same room to pick up the Prismastone — but, the Elder is blocking your way. In order to get inside, you'll need to retrieve the Reptmark from the forest. Simple task, I'll just presume you're competent enough to do so (It's a sparkle in the very north-western-most corner). The Elder will grant you passage in exchange, so borrow (steal) the Prismastone and take it back to Prehistory, placing it opposite the first one. Sparks will fly, and the two will combine to create a Saintstone! Take it to the reptite, who will give you the ArmDragon Arm, Robo's most powerful weapon yet.
