14. How Do You Like Me Now, Mysidia?

When you get back, take your time and talk to the townsfolk. Let them take in the awesome aura that is the paladin. Maybe show up to some of those who doubted you and rub it in their faces. You should have enough money now to get the rest of the paladin armor you couldn't get before, or if you don't, fight around until you get enough. The armor will be very useful in not getting your butt kicked.

When you've done that, head back to the elder and show him you've completed his task. He'll note that Cecil is, in fact, one foreseen in a prophecy of Mysidian legend. The elder unseals the Devil's Road, which leads to Baron for you to continue your quest. Before you embark, make sure you get plenty of healing items, and that you save the game outside. Then, make your return to Baron as an outcast.
