As soon as you return to Earth, you find that it's too late. Golbez has revived the Giant of Babil and is sending it to rain destruction upon the Earth. But lo and behold, it's all your friends to the rescue, manning everything from tanks to airships. While they distract the robot, you make your way in to shut it down from the inside. And while you're at it, maybe you'll have a choice word or two with Golbez and Kain.
When you gain control, you'll be inside the robot. Head up towards the transporter. You'll eventually be in the chest. Navigate your way around the room, collecting the treasures, and then into the transporter. This leads you to the Stomach. You'll see three different bridges. The first one leads to a treasure chest, as does the third one. The middle bridge leads to the continuing path. Hoist yourself around to the next transporter—this leads you to the room simply called Passage. The treasure you see is a monster-in-the-box, so be on guard. If you encounter an Alert here, you can steal Alerts, which will come in handy later. As you move on, you'll see a glowing orb. This represents a save point. You know what to do. Move onto the next passage. You should be on Stairwell by now. As you make your way up, you'll be ambushed by: not one, not two, not three, but all four of the elemental fiends. They were revived and they're ready to cut you a new one. I hope you brought a change of underwear.

There's a special strategy for this group because they're all a bit different than their first fight. Thank god you don't have to battle all four of them at the same time. That would be devastating. The trick is to just remember how you took on these guys the first time.
Milon is going to be first. He's back with a couple new tricks. He doesn't have a weakness, so just dish out the damage. Cecil is going to be at a constant state of attacking. In fact, you may want to cast

Cagnazzo: Simple. Blast him with lightning. Cecil and Rosa keep attacking and curing. Have Edge nail him with Blitz. Rydia and FuSoYa both serve him with

: Kain isn't with you to attack her, but she sustains physical attacks now, so it's even. She comes packed with

Rubicant: Remember: Ice and water. Rubes can't close his cloak anymore, so you won't have to worry about accidentally curing him with your ice spells anymore. However, he still packs a wallop with Scorch. So healing is important. Cecil attack. Edge drowns him with Flood. Rosa continues supplying recovery to the group. Rydia and FuSoYa use dual

Once you take care of business, run back to the save point to rest up, then head onward. The next room is the Core. As soon as it detects your presence, it will draw you into battle.

Upon defeating the CPU, the Giant of Babil will cease movement. And that makes Golbez livid. There's no way you'll survive his wrath in battle. Looks like you get a cutscene first, though — let's see what happens.
The robot begins to collapse with the group inside. Just when it looks like it's the end for the group, Kain shows them to the exit. Free of Zemus' command via Golbez, Kain is looking to make up for the troubles he's caused Cecil and Rosa.
The group decides to travel to the moon with Golbez and FuSoYa to take on Zemus. Cecil asks that Rosa and Rydia stay behind as there may not be a tomorrow for the group. They reluctantly do so. The remaining three take off for the moon. Right as they land, they find that Rosa and Rydia had stowed away on the Lunar Whale. After some argument, it's decided that they're all in it together. Take flight in the whale to the crystal towers where you first met FuSoYa. Head up the crystal room and transport to the Lunar Path.
